After four years of hard work, Springbrook seniors Alex Evans, Tatah Ndeh, and Julian Granby all signed National Letters of Intent to play college football at their respective schools. Evans signed to East Carolina University, Ndeh signed to Shepherd University, and Granby signed to Bowie State University. These senior standouts earned scholarships to play football in college.

The scholarship winners were starters on this year’s varsity football team. Evans decided to commit verbally to ECU before the season started, while Granby and Ndeh waited until signing day to announce commitments to their schools.

These scholars not only needed to have the best skills on the field, but also solid performances in the classroom.

“Even if you are the best football player in the country, if you do not have the combination of grade point average and a combination of ACT and SAT scores you cannot qualify, you cannot play college football except in community college. The quickest way to get noticed is to produce on the field and play well,” Coach Adam Bahr said.

The future gridiron stars expressed their appreciation to the coaching staff and were grateful for the opportunity.

“I’m just blessed that God gave me the opportunity to play at the next level, and to not have to pay for school. “I’m proud of me, Tatah, and Alex, and also my teammates because without them we wouldn’t have been as successful as we were this year on the field,” Bowie State commit Julian Granby said.
