Springbrook students had the opportunity to explore their futures at the school’s Annual Spring College & Career Fair, an event designed to connect students with a wide variety of postsecondary and career pathways.
Representatives shared information about summer jobs and internships, camps and enrichment programs, apprenticeships and skilled trades, military branches, colleges and universities, scholarships, and more. The fair gave students direct access to resources that can help them start planning for life after high school.
One of the most exciting parts of the event was seeing students step up and engage with community partners in a professional and thoughtful way. Students asked questions, explored different options, and showed genuine curiosity about their next steps. Their willingness to advocate for themselves reflected the culture of excellence that Springbrook continues to build.
Much of the event’s success is thanks to Ms. Tammy Patterson, Springbrook’s College Career Navigator, whose hard work and coordination helped bring the annual fair together and connect students with valuable opportunities for their futures. Her efforts played a major role in making sure students had access to organizations and programs that could help shape their next steps after high school.
Events like the College & Career Fair take a team effort. Staff members worked together to make the event successful, even with schedule adjustments throughout the day. Their flexibility and support helped ensure that students had a meaningful experience.
The Springbrook College & Career Readiness Team expressed appreciation to the staff for helping make the event possible and for continuing to support students as they prepare for the future.
