This spring, the girls varsity tennis team has a fresh face leading the way: Coach Curtis. Although she is new to coaching tennis, she has already brought energy, dedication, and excitement to the team.
Coach Curtis shared that stepping into this role has been a brand-new experience for her.
“It’s the one thing I’ve never done in education,” Coach Curtis said. “I never realized how incredibly tiring coaching can be, but it’s definitely worth the experiences.”
Even though this is her first year as a coach, Coach Curtis has already started building connections with the players and learning what it takes to lead a team. From practices to matches, she has been working hard to support the girls and help them grow throughout the season.
So far, the team is off to a balanced start with a record of 1-1-1, including one win, one tie, and one loss. While the season is still early, the team has already shown effort and determination on the court.
With a new coach and a season full of possibilities ahead, the girls tennis team is looking forward to seeing what else this year will bring. Springbrook is excited to watch Coach Curtis and the team continue to grow together.
