Springbrook Varsity Boys and Girls Swim and Dive is making a statement early. In their first meet of the season, the Blue Devils swept the competition against Paint Branch and Gaithersburg, winning all four matchups.
The team’s strong start was fueled by great performances across the board, but two girls relay teams earned a special spotlight. The Girls 200 Medley Relay team, made up of Ellie Wofford, Tessa Thompson, Emily Smugeresky, and Tiffany Egwim, qualified for Metros, one of the most prestigious meets in the area later this season.
Another big congratulations goes to the Girls 200 Freestyle Relay team, featuring Ellie Wofford, Tessa Egwim, Emily Smugeresky, and Tiffany Egwim, who also earned a Metro qualifying time.
With a season opening sweep and Metro qualifiers already on the board, Springbrook Swim and Dive is off to an exciting start. Keep it up, Blue Devils!
