Beyonce and Jay-Z will be expanding their family by two very soon. On February 1, 2017 Beyonce announced by Instagram that she was pregnant with twins.

The Instagram post had a picture of her holding her growing bump with the caption: “We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters.”

This post surprised the world again like it did when she announced her now 5-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, when she announced she was pregnant with a belly rub and a mic drop at the end of her “ Love on Top” performance at the MTV awards.

Although in a 2013 documentary she told views that her first child was sadly a miscarriage. “About two years ago, I was pregnant for the first time,” she said. Despite that she still was able to have Blue Ivy and her incoming twins.

She even performed at the 2017 Grammy’s. In interviews, family and friends say that the Carters are really happy and excited for their babies just like everyone in beyonce’s fans (the beyhive) are.
