This year the drama club kicks off their 2017 school year with the play, “Witness for the Prosecution”and the musical is to be announced later. The show will debut on December.

This thriller play takes in the 1950’s in the Old Bailey court in London. The play is centered around a man named Sir Wilfrid Robarts, barrister (a type of lawyer) who takes on a criminal case. His client, Leonard Vole, is accused of murdering Mrs. Emily French, a rich, older widow that is so infatuated with him that she makes him the main beneficiary of her will. Despite, the circumstantial evidence that points to Vole as the culprit, he believes that Mr. Vole is innocent. Thus, taking on the criminal case to the Old Bailey court for trial. Come out to see Witness for Prosecution!
