Get up close and personal with the cast and crew of “Dracula”
Technical (tech) week is the week before the opening night of a production. During tech week all the technical elements such as makeup, sound, costumes and lights are present during rehearsal for the first time. Students participating in Springbrook’s production of “Dracula” have been staying after school everyday this past week to get ready for opening night. Here is what some of them had to say about what happens during tech week.

"I think a lot of people will be surprised at how much work actually goes into the play because it’s a lot more than wearing the costumes, memorizing lines, and building the set. Everything is planned out down to where you stand and when. For example, there's about 10 seconds of dance that I do in one scene and it took us about an hour to rehearse it. Everything is so detailed,” junior Mellie Mesfin, who plays Lucy Wenstrom, said.
