The National Reading Month is an event that’s celebrated during the month of March to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Seuss, a beloved children’s author who made significant contributions to children’s literature. National Reading Month influences people of all ages to read and highlights the importance of literacy in our everyday lives. It is a time where people can discover new books or enjoy old ones.

1. Pet Sematary by Stephen King –
A family moves to Maine where they meet a local named Jud Crandall. After the family cat is accidentally killed, Jud encourages them to bury the cat in an ancient cemetery that has the power to bring the dead back to life. 2. The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien –
A recollection of stories by Tim O’Brien during his experience fighting in the Vietnam war. This book highlights the trauma of war and the burden soldiers have to carry both in battle as well as long after the conflict is over.
3. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald –
