In February, we celebrated National Counseling Week, which is always the first week of February. It is known and celebrated in the United States. Here at Springbrook, we have a diverse counseling staff. The moment a student walks into the office, they are greeted by the counseling secretaries. Besides offering counseling services, they offer much more. For example, you can have open communication with your counselor, pick up hygiene products or snacks when needed, and any counselor can step in if your counselor is not available. It is only fair that we should celebrate the counseling office staff. We should praise them more often.
Today, I will be sharing an interview with one of our counselors, Ms. Bower. She was chosen because she is willing to share her insight. After all, it can help others. Ms. Bower’s personality is inviting and open, which makes it easy to have a conversation with her.

In conclusion, Ms. Bowers views her days are very unpredictable because she never knows what her day is going to be like. The way to approach students is with patience and an open mind. Though students have different needs, she views it as a puzzle. She is a unique counselor because she does not give simple answers. Her advice is always personal.
