New app can read your mind

Have you ever gone to see a fortune teller or even a psychic? Many people don’t believe in those who claim that they can predict the future, but what about an app? The app “Akinator the Genie” reportedly reads your mind by asking users a series of questions.
This app is similar to the game “20 questions”. Here’s what you do: first, think of a character. This can be a television character, animated or real, or even a celebrity. Once you have your character, Akinator will ask you a series of questions about them. For example, Akinator may ask, “Is your character animated?”. From there, you can answer “yes”, “no”, “maybe”, “I don’t know”, “probably”, and “probably not”. Once the Akinator narrows down who you may be thinking of, the questions get more specific. “Is your character British?”, or “Is your character part of a boy band?”. I have used the the app to guess animated characters, singers and actors, and the Akinator has gotten it correct each time.
Although the questions the Akinator asks can get pretty specific, it is still amazing that is able to narrow down the character you’re thinking about in such a limited number of questions. Personally, I have played this guessing game with my family members, who think that it is extraordinary that the Akinator is hardly ever wrong.
I would give this app 5 out of 5 tridents for its intelligent questions and its ability to guess any kind of character: dead or alive, and animated or real. You could think of a character from the most unusual show ever and the Akinator will get it. This game is perfect for get togethers and will really surprise your family members.
“Akinator the Genie” is free and is also currently available for a quick download in the Google Play Store, the App Store on iTunes and also the Amazon Appstore for Android.
