Letter to the Editor: technology

Dear Springbrook Editor,
I’m a student at Springbrook High School and I have some concerns about how the technology can be improved. For instance, the school blocks certain apps that we use to communicate with other students like Snapchat and Instagram. I’m a student and I experienced first hand not being able to ask my friends where they are because the app we communicate on is blocked. Overall, technology at this needs to be improved.
Another area where technology should be improved is through the use of debit cards at the pit. Parents won’t have to worry about giving cash to their students. Also, we won’t have to worry about misplacing our cash or having it stolen. More people would also come to the pit and buy food because not everyone carries cash. So this would be good for school because it would make more money and many more students could possibly eat lunch. A lot of my friends always tell me that their parents wake up too early to give them cash. It’s scientifically proven that if you eat lunch the rest of your day will be better and you will stay focused. Taking that all into consideration, those are the most important reasons that Springbrook needs to improve in technology. Besides that it’s a great school.
Sincerely,
Mark Crear
