Students on the roof cause commotion at homecoming dance

Homecoming was a success, but security had to keep the students in school for a few more minutes after 11 p.m. causing confusion. Rumors were floating around that there were people dressed as clowns on the roof, but this was not the case.

The individuals on the roof were Springbrook students doing “parkour” which is a form of climbing and training performed on buildings and on the street.

“I kind of got bored and honestly I just wanted to do something that night because I didn’t want to go to homecoming and I didn’t want to stay home,” the anonymous student said.

The student and his friend were spotted on the roof and chased by the school’s security. The rumors about the clowns were false. In fact, neither of them were wearing masks at all. Both students got suspended for violation of school property.
